Tembo Elephant Rocker

We love Elephants at Junior Bambinos so we're a little biased with how beautiful this Elephant Rocker is with the gorgeous, soft, quilted style fabric we think it just gives this Rocker the edge.

✔ Fully padded seat with safety harness to keep your little one safe and secure whilst rocking away.

✔  Wooden handles to hold onto whilst rocking, along with some great Elephant Ears to hold onto too if they'd prefer.

✔  The wooden frame has been designed to be non tip so it's sturdy for your little one as they climb on and off and as they rock the curved base helps to prevent them rocking too wildly.

 How does the Rocker support your Child's Development?

Cognitive Development

✔  Using the Rocker they'll learn that Tembu is an Elephant, if you wish you can share with them a little more about Elephants so they start to learn about the world.

Social and Emotional Development

✔  When playing your little bambino will begin to express joy, sadness and maybe frustration as they try to do something and it doesn't quite work. These all form part of how they express their emotions.

Speech and Language Development

✔  When using the Rocker your little one might point, gesture and infer meanign through their facial expression: joy, sadness, cyring to get off etc... this all supports their speech development.

✔  As they grow they may start to share words with you such as Elephant, Grey, Rocker, Soft, Get on, Get off etc.. to support their language development.

Fine Motor Skills

✔  Focusing on the smaller muscles, fine motor skills is about that grasping technique, the pincer grip and by using the wooden handles (or Elephant Ears) on the rocker this will help your little one to build strength in their hands. 

✔  It will also support that hand-eye co-ordination as they try and focus on holding on whilst rocking and being balanced too.

Gross Motor Skills

✔  Using the Rocker this will help them to strengthen their core as they learn to sit whist at the same time ensuring they keep balanced as they use their muscles to help them rock.
